“The Park” by Feist is what I wake up to each morning on my CD player/alarm clock. I think it’s a beautiful song, so I thought I’d share.

@david yes, it is. when i had to wake up at 6am every day for work, it helped. i can’t stand waking up to a beeeeeeep beep or car commercial. i’ve got a rotation of CDs that have good waking-up songs.

I get the neighbor’s dogs barking at the outside cats who are on their way to be fed or get water. Or the beeping. Grr. Your way definitely better. I need a CD player by the bed.
This was really beautiful. Now I want to make one of waking up or, my favorite, going to sleep … for a nap!

I get restless squirming and usually barking dogs right before or after an alarm clock that is usually going off only a few hours after I went to sleep. So maybe that influences my reaction, but this was such a peaceful and hopeful slice of life.
